While Red Bull has captured adventure lifestyle and extreme sports athletes and rockstars alike, the creator of Liquid Death realized people who were sponsored by the product actually didn’t like the product. It was while he was at the Vans Warped Tour that he realized the band members who were sponsored by Red Bull and were seen drinking the drink on stage actually were just emptying the Red Bull and filling the can with water. It was there that the creator of Liquid Death knew that he could create a water product that would use the marketing techniques of Red Bull but applied to water.
